With a retailing philosophy of “elegance & simplicity”, the newly opened Lemonwood on Main Street Unionville features a bright and airy Scandinavian-inspired boutique offering beautiful cashmere, Italian linens, silks, and bamboo, as well as accessories.

Founded in 2016 by women, for women, Lemonwood is the passion of its owner Christine Peters. “We work hard to offer affordable luxuries to Canadian women,” says Peters.

“We feature fabrics that tickle the senses, sourced directly from proprietary manufacturers, and where possible from women-owned businesses. We also like to focus on Canadian designers and sustainability with natural dyes, recycled and organic materials.”

Peters began selling her amazing products in Markets and at Vendor events, then opened stores in Port Carling, Oakville, Rosedale-Summerhill, Collingwood, and now Unionville.

She prides herself on offering a personal touch and connection with all her customers and making sure they continue to innovate and provide products people are searching for – like a new men’s cashmere line coming this Fall.

Although COVID has not been kind to the retail industry, the Lemonwood website has continued to provide its customers with all the same options and beautiful fabrics online. And I think we can all agree that a pandemic is a perfect time for some self-care and cashmere!
